We are studying buildings!



During the closure of our school I encourage the children practice the following while at home:

Counting 0-20
Identifying numerals 0-10
Identifying shapes (circle, square, triangle, rectangle, hexagon, octagon, cylinder, cube, sphere, cone)
Sorting objects by color, shape, size
Identifying letters (especially those in name)
Practicing letter sounds (especially those in name)
Practicing writing their first name

If children are having a difficult time with the paper activities that you picked up from school cut the activities into sections. Example: have the children only focus on letters A,B,C,D for one day then add letters once the children can correctly identify those letters. You can also do this with the number activity.
