Hi! My name is Mrs. Mains and I am going to be your child’s preschool teacher.  This is my 12th year of teaching at Garfield Preschool. I love teaching preschool and I am very excited to be teaching your child this school year! 

I have a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, as well as a Fine Arts Degree from Felician College.  I also obtained a Master’s degree in Bilingual Education from William Paterson University.

I grew up in Garfield, NJ and familiar with the community. I often attend community events in our town. I look forward to seeing your family at some events throughout the school year.

Lastly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I am looking forward to working with your child to prepare them for Kindergarten and having a successful school year. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to discuss them with me.
